“Jane is a fine and very active fiddler from NSW and this new CD shows off her playing in various settings and styles. Mostly traditional tunes are taken and arranged in diverse styles and presented in several’ small groups together with various fine musicians helping out. These include Liz Erenchatn, Dave De Sand, Saul Richardson and Phil Burke. There are traditional reels and jigs, as well as some tunes given a jazzy (some almost reminiscent of Stephen Grapelli & Django Reinhardt) or even a bossy treatment, and thereby Jane wants to ‘bridge the old and the new’.” Review by Dieter Bajzek.
