The Counterfeit Gypsies are a hard-core gypsy dance band based in Melbourne. The music is an exciting blend of Gypsy and Klezmer music from across Eastern Europe and the Balkans with a not-so traditional attitude.

Music To Vacuum To is a collection of traditional Eastern European tunes performed with an ethos reserved generally for Heavy Metal and Hardcore Dance bands. Klezrner Is a widely used term that can mean songs for instruments. This type of Klezmer is more like songs for the feet…. and domestic chores. All the tunes are traditional melodies arranged with (for the most part) cranking rhythms and grooves, and the CD delivers its promise with a smooth mix of Violins, Flute, Cello, Guitar and Percussion.
