A follow on from ‘Simplefolk’, a collection of our favourite anglo Celtic ballads telling the tales of the past. Utilising a range of modern and ancient instruments and enjoying the collaborations of other wonderful musicians we present the lives, loves, losses and labours of the common folk.  Again, although traditional Anglo Celtic folksongs are at the heart of this CD, it is sprinkled with surprise tracks, contemporary folksongs that seemed to earn their place in this collection.
