Shona Williams & Phil Lester – Trail of Tears

Shona Williams is a Glaswegian born traditional Celtic Folk singer whose soaring vocals have seen her perform at various festivals throughout Australia including the National Celtic Festival Portarlington, where she launched her debut CD “Why Weep Ye By The Tide?”

Passionately delivering tales of Celtic Scotland and Ireland and incorporating Scottish Gaelic and Irish into every performance.

Shona draws her listeners into every performance and instills in the listener a love for the Celtic culture.

Shona has partnered with Phil Lester an accomplished guitarist/mandolin player(and many instruments in between) Phil Lester has been a troubadour of the Folk music scene for mony’s the year having been instrumental in the development of several folk clubs within Victoria as well as the Alex Legg Memorial Foundation. Phil’s dynamic Bush Balladeer vocals and vast musical experience just enhances the popularity of this duo.
